Local anesthesia, similar to a dental visit. Small port. The cannula glides in and delivers controlled RF energy directly into the fat layer. The procedure itself is relatively brief.
Reveal over weeks.
Your body metabolizes treated fat over the weeks that follow. Skin tightens as collagen rebuilds. The new contour emerges gradually, and tends to last.

With more than 20 years in surgical medicine, women's health, and pediatrics before founding Aetheria Aesthetics & Wellness, I built this practice so the consultation, the treatment, and the follow-up are never three different people who barely communicate.

What patients want to know before booking.
Is QuantumRF surgery?
No. QuantumRF is minimally invasive: a small port in the skin, a thin cannula in the fat layer beneath it, and controlled radiofrequency heat, under local anesthetic while you're awake. There's no general anesthesia and no suction. More happens than with a treatment that works through the surface of the skin, which is why it's planned as a procedure: expect mild swelling for 24 to 72 hours, possibly a compression garment for body zones, and light activity within a few days. Individual results vary.
How is QuantumRF different from external fat-reduction treatments?
QuantumRF is internal radiofrequency. A small port, a thin cannula, controlled heat applied directly into the fat layer. That precision means we can shape a specific area, work on skin laxity at the same time, and most patients see meaningful results in fewer sessions than external treatments require.
Will it hurt?
Pressure and warmth, not pain. We use local anesthetic in the treatment area, similar to a dental visit. Most patients are surprised at how comfortable it is. We stop and adjust if anything's too much.
How long does the procedure take?
Thirty to sixty minutes for the treatment itself, depending on the area. Plan on two to three hours total. Consult, anesthesia, treatment, brief recovery before you head out.
What's recovery like?
Mild swelling for 24 to 72 hours for facial zones. Up to a week for body zones. A small bandage at the entry port. You can usually return to non-strenuous activity the next day.
How fast will I see results?
Skin tightness is often noticeable within days. Fat reduction typically emerges over four to twelve weeks as your body metabolizes the treated cells. Most patients see the final result around week twelve. Treated fat cells aren't replaced, so the new contour tends to last.
